Only good thing was that the breakfast was REASONABLE in variety but variable in quality.
Supposedly non-smoking hotel but strong smoke smell throughout. Poor response from staff when smoking queried. Many things didn't work - some poor decoration. Very poor and seedy run down area. Not pleasant. Only OK as there were 4 of us. Would not stay as a single person. Even hotel staff did not understand the parking system outside their hotel and we wasted over 2 hours trying to pay the parking bill.

Proximity to a biker bar, charming old-style architecture, unique retro experience
The hotel needs a major overhaul!!! Outdated furniture, broken shower fixtures, inconsistent heating are just the start. Weekend noise from nearby bars ruins potential tranquility at night. A serious upgrade is necessary, especially for cleanliness!!!

The dining options provide excellent food for breakfast and dinner, satisfying even the pickiest appetites.
Maintenance is an issue, with several rooms experiencing broken fixtures like a loose heater and non-functional electrical sockets. Bathroom setups are cramped, especially with dated shower curtains that don't function properly, leading to sprays all over the bathroom. Many amenities seem dated or in need of repair, contributing to an overall feeling of neglect.

The hotel boasts a great location just minutes from the main attractions. The breakfast offers fresh bread and eggs, though it's wise to arrive early as some cooked items aren't replenished. Several maintenance issues detract from the experience, including a broken shower and a lack of WiFi in the room. The hotel feels a bit run down, which might be off-putting for some.

Location was good in relation to the city
Used towels stayed outside the room (and all other rooms on that floor) from Wednesday - when I arrived until Thursday - when I checked out. Empty beer bottles still not collected over the same period.
